Just make sure that you your Global Catalogue Server GCS had the update info and make sure that you delete the older servers in the Active Directory Users and Computers section. You can also update one of the DC's to be the GCS to make sure that everyone authenticates there.

yes, it looks to be virus related. We had tons of those here across the network so you need to take care of it fast as it replicates to all shares. go to symantec and they should still have the article, just do a search for .eml. I forgot the particular virus but it was terrible. j
