Hi Kyle,
Thanks for your suggestion. Even with all filters on ('cept the developer ones) this didn't come up, but I think I've identified the problem from some of the other logs.
Firstly, there's an odd LCR configuration which may well be interfering.
However, an ISDN trace shows the correct...
Hi,
The 'pilot' DDI (we'll call it '123400') in our range is used by a certain department, and to avoid them getting loads of return calls I've set a default ShortCode to withhold all outgoing CLIs -
Code : ?
Tel : .W
Feature : Dial
Then I've overridden that on each user with the...
Again, thanks for the help.
As the PRI card is in slot B, it was being prioritised as the clock source. I made the changes and now (according to the monitor application), it's now using line 1 (which is BRI).
I'll run some more tests but initially faxes are coming in a lot better than before...
Hi.
Thanks for the info.
We've got 8 ISDN2e channels (four into a quad card in our IP406v1).
We've also got 7 SIP trunks coming into a Vega 500 through to the IP406 via a PRI card.
The VoIP channels are used for incoming calls, whereas the ISDN are prioritised for outgoing.
I'm wondering if...
Here's my two cents...
I can vouch for GFI MailEssentials. It's well supported and maintained, easy to install and requires minimal administration. Very well priced for SMBs and highly effective against SPAM. It's got good reporting facilities (the last month averages 95% spam detected, with...
Hi,
Our fax machines have an option to choose the line type.
There's PSTN, PBX and ISDN.
Which should I be using when the fax machine is connected to a PSTN module on a PBX connected via ISDN2e ?!
Since we moved premises and switched from ISDN30e to ISDN2e, we've been having problems...
Sorry Crest, I wasn't clear.
Everyone is using their own POP3 mailbox on a seperate server.
I've set myself up on Exchange and created a POP3 connector so Exchange hangles my incoming and outgoing email.
When I send an email to one of the other users it would previously have been sent directly...
Hi Crest,
Thanks for the tip.
I had already tried changing the policy and it didn't seem to help. I've also changed the email address in AD for all users (they were all listed as <username>@domain.local). I noticed as well that there appeared to be a separate email address in Exchange to the...
Hi all,
I'm new to Exchange, knowing just enough to be dangerous (so feel free to flame me if I'm being stupid !).
I'm looking after a corporate setup, where a POP3 server is used by all staff for email using username@corporate.com where username is the user's name and corporate is our...
Hi Foxfire,
I've seen something similar before, not sure if it's the cause of your problem but worth a try...
Ask the same user to re-send the message in PLAIN TEXT format. If it was in HTML (or Rich Text ?), some mail servers may reject it.
One of my users had this problem with AOL and...
