    To recap: Motherboard: http://store.yahoo.com/directron/m7ncda02.html -400 DDR, I have 1 x 512 MB stick (brand new) (compatable) -300w ATX power supply (tried two separate)(compatable) -1800 Athlon XP cpu (working)(compatable) Any other (good) suggestions?

    I did test with miminal hardware (motherboard, cpu, ram, and power supply). I did try the motherboard with a new power supply as well. Any other suggestions?

    Slightly different issue than Clumsy... Replaced motherboard in my system. Also upgraded RAM to DDR since the upgraded mb would no longer take PC133. Processor is an Athlon XP 1800. ATX 300w power supply. Computer won't turn on. Replaced the motherboard, added the ram, prcessor, heatsink...

    Option is not built into ppt, but you can buy 3rd-party software to do it. If you've found a better solution let me know. I'm looking to do the same thing and this is the best I've found. http://www.rdpslides.com/pptools/merge/index.html
