I have tested this in WinXP/ FF 1.5, NS 8.1, NS 7.1, IE 7, IE 6...
I am testing my code in as many browsers as I can get my hands on and found that Netscape 8.1.2 isn't displaying properly when set to "Display Like Firefox".
I am trying to float 4 DIVs across my footer, and the 4th floated DIV is falling under the 3rd floated DIV. If I change the width by 3...

What I need next is some javascript code that detects Mac IE and automatically downloads and installs Firefox for the user. ;)
Like I read in someone's signature on this forum: "In a world without fences and walls, there is no need for Gates and Windows.
I am using this little bit of code for IE users to "bookmark this page"
window.external.AddFavorite(self.location.href,document.title)
However my Mac-friends tell me that nothing happens.
Does the Mac-IE use different code, or does it not support this javascript and I need to ask them to hit...

Thanks for the fix, I am going to test it. I did get it to detect Opera by using:
if ((browser.indexOf("opera") != -1) && (browser.indexOf("msie") != -1))
I found a piece of code where the author suggest testing for both Opera and MSIE userAgents. You can then also test for Opera by...
