There's another way if you don't want to mess around on the command prompt:
Create a shortcut to WSAD (wsappdev.exe)and use the -data flag. For example, the TARGET for one of my desktop shortcuts is:
"C:\Program Files\IBM\WebSphere Studio\Application Developer\v5.1.2\wsappdev.exe" -data...
