    RDS.EXE Error

    I'm getting this at the begining of a tape backup job. THe database engine shuts down, I have to restart it and run the job again. Is this an indication of Database corruption, and if so, how do I resolve this? Thanks

    Tape and DB Engine Shut Down

    I just noticed that this past Friday, I was doing a Full backup and it failed because the Database Engine was shut down. If I go restart the DB Engine and run my backup it seems to be fine.

    I created a new backup job to back up our Exchange Server. It gets about 20 minutes into the backup and the tape and db engine both shut down, it loses connectivity and stops the job. Any ideas as to why this might be happening?

    Backup Job seems to hang

    We have a nightly backup job that seems to hang at the same point. When it gets to our Exchange Server it seems to hang (As far as I can tell). The job shows active, and no errors appear, however, when I look at the MB's processed, it's stuck a 0.00. I let it go for an hour or two thinking maybe...
