I too have tried to do effective user rights which Netware was able to do very effectively but W2000 cannot. One thing I was going to try was to create a DFS root with links under it based on directories that a user should have rights to ,then map that root as a drive. I believe this will work...
Further question on shared folders in regard to login Scripts in Windows 2000. Is it possible to login to more than one subdirectory under the one mapped drive.
