thanks for the help, but these programs require that the drive be visible by the bios, which doesnt seem to be the case here. Guess i'll have to send her in!- didaskal

Hard Drive Crash
I have a hard drive that fails to boot. On startup it says "disc read error". Even when I connect it to another slave drive on a functional pc it doesnt even read it as an active drive.
