    Remove AVG Antivirus software

    I had AVG anti-virus installed, but was unable to receive updates. When I uninstalled the programme in order to download the full programme again, I could not. It repeatedly told me the AVG software was already installed. Any help in trying to locate any AVg files would be greatly appreciated

    I had a very similar problem. Symantec software causes all kinds of problems. What I had to do was uninstall the Norton Anti-Virus manually. Look up Symantec site...then find Anti -Virus....and then instructions to unistall. Print off and go through the steps one by one. Its difficult, time...
