Thanks for the script / agent, but - if I understood it correctly - it works on selected documents. But I want to use it in a document. And by the way, I get an error. Is there a simple way like a smart icon and then the formula / command @today ?
In mail it is in the header, but in own made databases it does not have to be. I have such a database in which amongs others telephone calls are registered. At some point I have to insert date and/or time. Now I have to type it. But I would like to have this task automated. Would you by any...
I am trying to import favorites from Internet Explorer into perweb.nsf. How can I do that ? Obviously there is a form "import favorites". But have no clue how to access / use it. Does somebody have some tips or solutions, so I can import the favorites from eg. c:\bookmarks.htm into perweb.
Thanks
I know that, Pascal, but it was my intention to run the agent manually from the menu. I thought that that would work. I already started with the formula's but I stranded when I was looking for a formula for selecting documents that meet criteria. This what I already brought together...
That would be an option. But could you help with the programming of such an agent. ? By the way, does this agent work on a database stored on a local drive ? Would really appreciate your help !
I have created a folder an I have hidden it (put the name between brackets). Now I have to modify the folder but I am not able to access the design option, it is gray . I guess I have to unhide the folder to get access to modify it. Can anybody help me with that ?
I have created a database which contains data that has to show up on a given date. In my mail template calendar I can copy a memo to the calendar as an appointment and in due time the alarm goes off. I want the same to be done with the data from my own database. Anybody knows a @Command or...
Hey Pascal, it's me again. I figured it out ! The following was the problem. I have a form "invoice" and a form called "VAT" With VAT I fill the view VAT with data. And the field VAT% in the form invoice retrieves it's data from the view VAT. Now I let the view VAT fill its data from the form...
The first row in the particular view is indeed the VAT rate. When I add a new invoice (through the form invoice)and the VAT rate is not in the keyword list I add the new rate through the "workaround". That is to say: I have an action button @Command(Compose(VAT)). The new VAR rate shows up...
Pascal, the formula that I use now is: @DbColumn("":"NoCache";"";"Maintenance/VAT";1. In that formule I use NoCache....should I use Cache instead (so the formula would be @DbColumn("":"Cache";"";"Maintenance/VAT";1) ) or should I leave the "Cache string" blank (so the formula would be...
I already have created this view and named it "Maintenance/VAT". But it has one column called VAT. And it is sorted. I also used that name of the view in my @DBcolumm lookup. In my opinion I already have done all that you suggested, or did I forget something ???
I have a form to keep track of invoices. One field is for VAT. Since I get invoices from all over the world, I have to store different VAT %. I use a diologbox and a formula to choose values, This is the formula: @DbColumn("":"NoCache";"";"Maintenance/VAT";1). This column reflect to a (sub)view...
Thanks Pascal for your help and suggestions in this matter. I have a nother problem which I have started a new thread for because it doesn't have to do anything with the formula's in the column. Thanks again.
Pascal, Thanks !!! [2thumbsup]If I could give you three stars for that I would. Allthought in the beginning it didn't work and I was kinda frustrated. And just when I was about to give up I added some thing to the formula for the first (hidden) column. The formula now is...
Sorry...I tried every thing...but I didn't get it to work.
I work with files and they are numbered: eg 3031, 3035, 5001, 5002, 5003 etc.... The actions are linked with these files and in the view the first column displays the file number of the form "files: and of the form "action" with the...
Pascal...sofar [thumbsup2] and I guess I just have to accept the limitations of the view. There is one thing to achief what I want to. In the view, is it possible to have the entries categorized on the project number ? Suppose ther are some project: nrs 1, 2, 3 In the first form (form A) I...
