    HP officejet 6110printer/scanner problem

    We have a new hp 6110 that will not start up because in the initialization phase the scanner gets hung-up. How can I fix this? It just sits there and tries to scan but stutters instead. I don't even want to scan, just print. Wish I hadn't bought an all-in-one! TIA
