    Verify List of E-mail Addresses

    How can I verify that the e-mail addresses on a list of addresses are valid with out sending an e-mail to each recipient (and then waiting for the bounce backs)? Is there some way to elicit a response from the the server for an e-mail address indicating whether the address is valid or not...

    Creating DBF Files from Comma Delimited files

    This is a slightly unusual request. I work with Oracle developers who just don't want to understand the concept of a dbf file. Is there any utility that can be used to convert a comma delimited file to a dbf file that can be used in a Solaris Environment from perl?
