What is the best backup software?
I agree. Arcserve is easy to use. I don't have any experience with recovery though. Legato is a pain to setup, especially with Oracle backup. It's also difficult to setup if you have total system failure. With Arcserve, you can setup a recovery diskette.- ajy101

Legator NW: XDR Checksum failure during recovery - urgent!
Hi, apologies if this has been asked before, but we need to recover files using Legator Networker (Solstice backup 5.5.1) on a SUN E450 solaris 2.6. Whenever we try to recover a whole directory, halfway through recovery we get an "xdr checksum failure" error and the whole backup...- ajy101
