Never worked with that card, but I have a TE205P from Digium that works great. As far as connecting it to your Nortel, you can just use the second port on your TE205P. I think you might have to use the Custom Context add-on to redirect your calls coming into the * box to the Nortel though.

Isn't AIX trunking only between * boxes? I have setup trunks to traditionl phone systems using just the trunk that he has already setup. It could be the remote end. Never worked with that brand of system.

I currently have all of our directives using the "+compressasm: ." function. We use a StorageTek 9730 with dual DLT7000 tape drives, that support compression. Should I turn off compression in the directives, since the hardware supports compression? What are the implications in doing this...
