I took the CCNA last spring and failed it by 5 points, took it a week later and passed it by 5 points.
Since then I've gone on to get my CCNP, Firewall Spec. and IDS Spec. So I'd say that if you scored a 958 you're in good shape.

I've taken 8 Cisco exams in the past year and I'm pretty sure that I've never seen them count the all "0's" or all "1's" in the subnet or host count. So I'd agree that Cisco would be looking for the correct answer to be "B:"

I too live and work in Louisiana and echo your findings in regards to the job opportunities for Cisco certs being slim. It has been my experience as well that when looking for jobs, those wanting CCSP or CCNP are few and far between, while most want an MCSE canidate.
