Stefanwagner.. thanks for the response.. I'm looking to make a webserver.. Basically I want to host my own websites. Many new sites I'm buiding require scripts that need administrative access that shared hosts simple won't provide, and I'd like the freedom of having my own server to do whatever...- Capuaco

I basically got a spare computer that i want to turn into a linux server from the ground up.. Is there a good page on the net that explains how this is done step-by-step or a good, relatively easy to follow book on this?- Capuaco
