YAY I fixed it!!!!
My MS Audio compression was messed up, this is how I fixed it...
Add New Hardware
Yes I have already connected the hardware
Add a new hardware device
Install manually from a list
Sound, video and game controllers
Have Disk
Browse
Windows\System32\mmdriver.inf
OK
Lists codecs...
OK I think I have finally found out what the problem is...
Under Sound and Audio Devices Properties, I click hardware tab and select Audio Codecs. I go to properties and I see 3 things listed,
Fraunhofer IIS MPEG Layer-3 Codec
Microsoft PCM Converter
Lernout And Hauspie Codecs

So far no luck ... but I have gotten a MOD which is helping me get this...
Thanks everyone for your information, I finally found the creative forums (indeed they are a mess, as well as a little confusing to find) and created a thread there. Hopefully I will get some feedback on how to fix this issue and I will let you know what I find. Thanks for your help.
