screen "Attach attempt with bad pid" error
Yes, both -x and -r give the same results. I tested it on a Linux box, and it works fine. But when I try the exact same test on AIX 4.3.3 it's gives the above mentioned problem. I have a few AIX 5.x machines and suppose I could try it there. Thanks.- Cytosine

screen "Attach attempt with bad pid" error
I'm trying to use screen 3.9.8 (also tried 4.0.2) on AIX 4.3.3. It gives the above error when attempting to use screen's "multiuser" feature. I set the screen executable suid bit and set 'multiuser on' and ran 'addacl testuser', but the testuser is still not able to attach. I found this on a...- Cytosine
