    After I reboot my 2003 email server I cannot ping our other server. however the other server can ping it, only by enabling the second nic and configuring it with the old ip address and disabling the other nic does it start to work again.     DNS queries slow and fail often

    Is this a known issue with 2003 DNS? I also have similar problems. If I connect a workstation directly to our ISP DNS servers response is quite rapid but going via the servers DNS connection is slowed say about 5 to 10 sec before a web page is shown.
