    Your tip worked. For some reason I wasn't thinking of an ISA parallel port which is what the problem was. There were only PCI ports configureed. I'm not sure why I kept thinking the onboard parallel port was PCI. Duh factor I guess. In any case, thanks again for putting me on the right track.
