the software was from the CD sent with the unit, but I have found out that call status relies on the tcp/ip whereas phone manager uses tcp/ip plus it also uses TFTP, changing the firewall settings solved this one...thanks for the replies, hope this helps you if you get the same fault. Gordon Clark
