Actually, I just deleted 1 of the internal DNS records for "mail" so now all users only hit 1 OWA server. So far so good.
If that is indeed the issue, I am not sure what would have caused users to bounce back and forth between OWA servers when opening up emails when logged into 1 OWA server...
We do not have a lot of internal OWA users so DNS round robin for "mail" has worked well for years...well until this odd issue recently.
Are you thinking that opening an email and getting the FBA authentication screen might be an issue of accessing both Front End OWA servers each time an email...
Just DNS load balancing (2internal DNS host records for "mail") for internal users and load balancing through an ISA server for external users. It seems to be mostly an internal issue as I do not see it happening when I access OWA from home
We have 2, 2003 OWA servers that are acting as Front End servers. Theses servers use Forms Based Authentication. They connect to an Exchange 2003 SP2 backend server.
Over the past couple of days, we have had users complaining that after they log into OWA, they click an email to read it and...
We are running server 2003/Exchange 2003 SP2 in our parent domain. I have a child domain running Server 2003. The child is NOT running Exchange
I have several users who have mailboxes on the parent domain who are moving to the child domain. What is the easiest way to set them up on the child...
I have seen multiple scripts that export the members of a security group to a text file. I am looking for a script that exports a User's group membership to a text file.

Actually it wont stop them from being generated, it will just filter them out until you check the Information box under Event types and they will still be there
Obviously that will stopp ALL informational logs from being generated. I guess there is no way to stop one specific informational event from being logged
Using 3.0 with SP1
No, when I log in as a Domain Admin, it says that updates are available. When I click the icon, it take me to the windows update screen. On that screen, all it says is
"Some settings are managed by your System Administrator" and gives the information about the updates...
Is there a reason why I have to log in as a local admin in order to install updates pushed out to my 2k8 server via WSUS? I log in as a Domain Admin, which is part of the local admins group, and cannot install the updates.
Is there a way, through a GPO or registry setting, to disable the System Log event that is produced when a particular service is started/stopped?
I have one service in particular that is hammering my System Log when an application starts up then shuts down.
For example:
Event ID 7035 The xx...
We are putting some of our older Dell servers up for auction and I wanted to make sure that no data was on the drives. Most servers have PERC cards. Can anyone suggest a free application that will erase the servers RAID drives completely?
We use an app for our workstation IDE/SATA drives that...
I have a member server running 2003 SP2. It also has SQL 2000 installed on it as well as Document Imaging application that uses SQL.
I am not sure what happened but all of a sudden users are complaing that accessing the document imaging application from their workstations was extrelemy slow...
