Thanks for this - I have passed it over to our support team - basically, software deploys fine usually - its just this add-in causing the problem. Settings look as you indicate, and awe are not working with IRM. We'll look further.
I am having trouble installing the MS Remove Hidden Data add-in tool across around 8000 pc's.
There are around 12 or so different builds, but even within identical hardware/image machines (allegedly), I am getting inconsistent results - sometimes the tool installs itself correctly into Word...
Yes, a server side agent is needed, if the OOO message doesnt work for everyone.
And, if you end up getting it to work, on the 6.5.2 client, you must disable it on the server edition of your mail file (it doesnt disable at the client end - bug?)
On a regular Document Library database, I have some Notes documents that are around 40Mb. They consist of text, attachments and the occasional picture.
When Notes replicates, I cannot work out why sometimes, it takes ages to replicate (as it is presumably uploading the whole document) but on...

I managed to put my laptop date forward by one month (to 1st July), and did not spot this for a few days.
Although I have now corrected it, whenever I create a new document in Notes, it gives me a correct Created and Added date, but puts 1st July in the Modified Initially...
If you are looking at Views-All Documents in a 6.5.2 mail file, how do you establish which folder documents are actually in?
(Must be a simple answer, but I can't find it)

When I loaded the document into a text editor, it just gave me 4 pairs or question marks, but in did reduce the file down to 26 bytes! (albeit 4k on disk). So, still a bit of a mystery
My Invoices are usually derived by taking the last one, and overtyping changes to dates, amounts etc
I've just noticed that although the file started off at 30kb, my latest invoices are over 600kb each.
I took one of these later documents, and stripped every last bit of text off it - it was...
Using Client 6.5.2, most attachments arrive just fine, but occasionally TIF and WAV files are corrupt - instead of the attachment icon, the file is displayed in 80 char strips, still uuencoded - and the corruption is visible (eg no "end" statement, or linefeeds missing).
