    Thanks Ken, That's what I was looking for. I had even looked at that dialog box before, but didn't realise how to add a group. I just looked again, and realised that I hadn't turned the header and footer on. Thanks again, David.

    Why is my report spreading out over multiple pages?

    Sorry, I should have mentioned, it is not being spread out in that direction. Each line of data fits on the page. It is spreading out in a vertical sense. It starts a new page, with a new page header, at what seems like radom points in the lines of data. Thanks for your response though.

    Hi all, I have this report, and the data in it ony has 4 lines in it, but for some reason, it insists on spreading out over 3 pages. 2 lines on the first, 1 line on the second, and 1 line on the third.     How do I add a new group?

    I realise there is probably a real easy answer to this, but how do I add a new group to my report? I have read that I can have "up to ten groups with both a header and footer", but can't seem to find how I add them. Thanks in advance, David.
