I also had this problem on 2 computers that had the Cisco Unity client installed on after the 5000. After doing an uninstall I found that there is a file CVirtA.sys leftover in the system32\drivers\ and I deleted it and the registry entries;
HKLM\SYSTEM\CCS\Services\CVirtA...
