selections using a derived field in Report Smith version3.1
I don't know if this works in Oracle (I'm SQL) but I set up a monthly date based report with report variable "MONTH," (string type, with "choose from list" entry, and then I entered all months like this in the report variable piclist: %JAN% %FEB% %MAR% etc...) then do a selection criteria of...- jfcbenhr

I think it's because the same action reason code (and description, likely) is associated with more than one action. Either you have unique reason codes set up for each action, or you have to go thru an elaborate selection criteria process to whittle down the dupe rows you don't want on the...- jfcbenhr
