    SQL cube Date is recognized as Character in BO

    We are using the SAP BO version 12.3.0.601. I am using BO for reporting from a SQL cube. But BO Designer detects date fields as Character. Please see the attached Word document which explains the issue with snapshot images form BO. Any help is highly appreciated. Cheers,
