Strange video artifacts that eventually lock up PC
This may sound crazy but I was having the exact same problem and it just turned out that my surge protector had gone bad. When I plugged the computer into the wall, it was fine.- TVC15

No Display Properties
I cannot get to my display from control panel either. I need to get a new video card. Will that fix it? Or know of any other fixes? (I like making my desktop pretty and now I'm awfully restricted.) P.S. H-key is in the registry.- TVC15

I dont know when or how I did it, but I cannot get a screen display properties box anymore. I took a look in H Key and all values are set at zero and I even downloaded the restorealldisplaytabs and addded it. Nothing. How do I turn on my screen properties. Which Registry Cleaner?
I have an Athlon computer with Windows XP Pro and I realize I need to buy a serious registry cleaner. But which one? Can you reccommend one that is cheap and simple. The freebies ain't doin it. Thanks.- TVC15

Open .psd file. Close?
I don't know how I did it but I was fooling with a jpg in Image Ready. I made a perfectly fine gif out of it but, weirdly, it left a psd file in my Pictures file that I cannot delete. I keep getting an error message when I try to delete it that says 'this file is being used by another file or...- TVC15
