Keeping mail relays out

Notification of new messages in a discussion group
I have created a new discussion group and would like to have a notification email sent to the access group members when new messages are posted or modified. I assume I need to create and agent for this. Does anyone have examples they can share to help me accomplish this. Thanks in advance, Jim
