    Writer 1 again. The software my printer uses to convert sequential files to booklets is Acrobat with a plugin called Quite Imposing.

    You want to create you publication as sequential pages and then use software to convert it to booklet. I generate sequential files and my print service returns a proof to me in the booklet format before printing. If my printer will give me the name of their software I'll pass it on to you.

    The darkened image also happens with bitmap pictures. My workaround is to increase the image Brightness by 5%-10%.

    Unwanted lines when converting Publisher to PDF

    I find this occurs when you use the Acrobat PDF print driver. It happens even with the print perameters set to a high resolution. The only way I avoid it is to use a postscript driver to create a .prn file and then use Acrobat Distiller to create the PDF.

    Grey background in .bmp pictures

    Microsoft Pub 2002/Windows XP. Both installed at the same time to replace M Pub 2000 and WinNT and that's when the problem began. When I print Publisher files with embedded CDR 9 generated .bmp pictures to Kyocera and Post Script drivers (I've tried 3)for distilling to .pdf files the .bmp box...
