parse date in open office
to mattaw: I am downloading from unix based financial system to Open Office with a file that needs to be formatted so that it can be manipulated in OpenOffice. In Excel we always called it parsing, to structure the columns in a usable fashion.- pawnee600

I was able to download data from my business financial package to excel then had to parse the data to put the columns and rows in order. We have now converted to Open Office but can't figure out how put the data in order after the download.- pawnee600
