Input errors to the serial usually result from cabling issues, framing issues, timing issues, or noisy ckts, have the provider verify integrity of the ckt, and also ensure that you are receiving the proper clock, that is a usual suspect with input errors. Its usually the line as the source, use...
This was a very interesting forum, I read thru it in its entirety, I was a little bored, but it was very interesting. I am not a manager, I am a CCNA looking to re-up my CCNP. I do not hold a bachelor's degree, but I do have an associate's degree. I will began finishing my undergrad in the...
ccna to expire at the end of the year, if i take one CCNP exam will it validate my ccna and prevent it from expiring and if so what is the recommended, when studying i find the material on switching to be the easiest, but i work in troubleshooting WAN connectivity so I am thinking about remote...

We looped the CSU and got errors coming back to us. The timing has been adjusted as well to internal and line on both cards, the only distinguishing factor that I have observed on these interfaces (4 and only 1 clocking errors) is the way the packets are being processed, I don't know if it's...
you will have to configure them from the command line,
en
conf t
int type/slot/number
ip address subnet mask
The interfaces will talk because the interfaces are directly connected networks, and what protocol are u using and where is the firewall going to be located, off of what subnet?

Well, I forgot to mention that we put the CSU in loopback and clocked errors to it directly, the timing should not have been a factor in a loopback, I am thinking that this is related to where/how this WIC is seated or something... something is causing only 1 particular interface to clock...

Help, for a while we have been clocking massive errors on a serial interface on a 2600 Router, we have four t1s going into WICs on the router, the timing config is:
s0/0 line source internal
s1/1 line source line
s2/2 line source internal
s3/3 primary
On...
