PC's, connected with 3Com hubs hang while broadcasts
5 dual speed hubs are connected; one novell file server (4.11) is connected to one hub, 17 PC's are connected to the same hub; when all 5 hubs are connected (over cascade cables), the PC's will hang when running a special software which is sending a lot of broadcasts. server date changes to 2049
I have a 4.2 (4.11) small business server running with seagate backup exec 8.0<br> the server had up to now two times a correct server time, but a completely wrong server date. the first time the date was 2033 (app. 12 weeks ago), the second time it was 2049(app. 2 weeks ago).
