Actually its a dlink 301u and it does insit on using LPR mode when you set it up. That port is port 515 not 9100. If it were 9100, would it be possible to set up 2 printers with separte IP addresses behind the linksys router, forward port 9100 to both ip addresses and be able to print to both...- junkoplenty

Multiple Printservers Behind Linksys wireless Router
Port 9100 is the port the jetdirect printer runs on, port 515 is the port the DLink printserver runs on. To setup the Jetdirect printer, it uses the ip of that printer as a networked printer. The DLink requires that you create a LPR TCP port on 515, then set it up as a "local" printer.- junkoplenty
