    Company web on sbs2003

Changed. I assume you are doing this from "behind" the firewall. In which case, you shouldn't be challenged by the server for authentication. Check the permissions on the folder "companyweb" through Server Management, it should be set to users on the domain. ----------------------- Michael...

    Company web on sbs2003

No, I used the add user option in the Server Management dialog, I then added the Clients seperately, although for another test client I added the PC when the wizard prompted. The one that's causing the issue was added manually but the wizard still asked the same questions. I think the problem...

    Company web on sbs2003

No DG, that's the strange thing. I'm running 2003 SBS as DC and all clients are on XP Pro. If I type in http://SERVERNAME I get nothing on the client but if I substitute servername with the server's IP it works fine. Very strange me thinks. ----------------------- Michael Mason Arras...

I'm having a similar issue as we speak. I can view the wwwroot files through IE if I type in the IP but not if I type in the domain Controller's name like so: http://servername Strange. I want to active the company web also but first things first me thinks [colorface] -----------------------...

    Creating a login script

LMAO...! I've developed a few VB apps over the past few months and although Third party apps are friendly, I fell that I really need to get to grips with VBS. That way, if it goes wrong I can roll up my sleeves and put it right (I hope). Again, thanks for the posts. -----------------------...

Extremely new to PHP .... couple questions...

Thanks very much for the posts guys. I feel a lot more confident in stepping out and learning MySQL now as it appears from what little knowledge I have gained over the past few days that it will indeed do what I want. In essence I will be looking to create a 3 phased approach to my en goal: 1...

Extremely new to PHP .... couple questions...

Guys I read this article and some of the associated links with keen interest. I'll certanly be dropping by again when I have a little more knowledge. One question though if I may: What's the difference between MySQL and SQL...? Is MySQL to SQL as VBA is to VB...? I'm a complete novice so go...

    Creating a login script

Thanks Mark I missed the "Groups" section...! I assume I simply replace the batch file with a VBS file. Also, the standard batch file calls out an EXE file in the first line. Any idea what this is because if a regul;ar user logs on it comes up with a dialog box saying they do not have admin...

    Creating a login script

Hi guys. I'm a newbie and would like to get started on a script, I know a little VB and VBA so I am hoping VBS is not that much of a jump. Also, for what I need, I hope I don't need to know much VBS anyway. Put simply: Running Windows 2003 SBS as DC and would like it to map a few drives for...

    CRM setup and configuration

DK I'm in the process of speccing out a system for CRM and would love to keep in-touch with you on this through e-mail if possible. I'm going to be deploying it on server premium as it comes with Exchange and SQL which CRM requires (I'm told). With regards the question of using a DC I am...
