If I have a 500v2 at version 8.1 and I want to use it to replace a 500v2 at 9.1 it looks for an upgrade license. Can I default it thru the DTE port to forget about what version it was running at previously? and if so what DTE commands do I use?
Looking to setup time stamps to show correctly in visual voicemail. The system is server edition 10.0 Visual voicemail shows East coast time and I need it to show west coast time.

I agree, but this customer really wants to keep individual Essential voicemails at each site. Trust me I would rather do VMpro and SCN.
I just thought I heard somewhere that in R10 that but in a safety factor that wouldn't allow this setup without a vmpro license.
To confirm I won't need a preferred license just a networking license or sip trunk license for each site?

It has been awhile for me. Can anyone remember if there is a setting in CCR for the Outbound Calls(EXT). I have a site not reporting outbound calls that are short calls to answering machines.
Has anyone run into an issues where you listen to a new voicemail and it has static issues. Then you listen to it as an old message and it sounds perfect. If I goto the server and navagate to /opt/vmpro/Accounts/ the wav file sounds perfect.
