I think that CLID is a DN type, but I'm not sure.
But never the less I also tried
PLAY PROMPT NUMBERBYDIGIT 8
and
PLAY PROMPT NUMBER 9000
which are integer constants and that did work either.

PLAY PROMPT NUMBERBYDIGIT CLID
but this doesn't seem to work; nothing is played
I expect this command uses the voice segments c_xxx_gv defined in SccS but the refer to a file "file1" in CallPilot which I can not find over there.

I had kind of the same problem... I fixed it by routing the calls to 2 scripts via 2 different 'fake' numbers based on clid.
where the 2 target scripts int_abc and ext_abc are exactly the same.
Master script:
where CLID equals
2000: execute script abc
1192000: execute script ext_abc
1182000...
