Yes, don't mess with them. A 10/100 4 port autosensing hub can be picked up for about $50-$70 at "Best Buy" or one of the other mass marketing outfits. Not knowing your location, I can't be any more specific.<br>
You can also find a shop that has a ram tester and identify the SIMMS (or whatever) that way. If you show up with a box of chocolate covered donuts, they may let you stand there and do it yourself. <grin><br>
