    AIX 5.2 L Support for H50 and F50

    Our F50 is a a Control Workstation in an SP environment running 4.3.3, 5.1 and 5.2. You will need to just be careful about individual devices attached to the F50 such as multiport serial adapters etc and check that All DEVICES in your lscfg are supported. Good Luck :)

    I use X-Thin-Pro and cannot replicate this but CDE running on a graphics console can produce strange effects if you don't have large enough / and /tmp filesystems such as being unable to open multiple windows.

    alternatively you could issue 'lsattr -El sys0 -a modelname' You will get IBM,9076-WCN for a Silver wide, IBM,9076-270 for a Winterhawk, IBM,9076-N81 for a Nighthawk etc etc. The nomenclature used is that displayed in the IBM Facts and Features Guides - ie you won't see p690 etc but the names...
