S-Video Laptop to TV connection
the reason you cant see the dvd on your tv is because it player uses an overlay, some graphics cards you can set up to display the overlay on the tv, but it depends on the video card you have. as for disabling the overlay, that could be hard as its used by nearly every dvd playing program out there. -
