A challenge you'll likely face is that regardless of whether either route is down, the default gateway IP's you'll be entering are neighboring IP's which will respond even when the upstream connection to the Internet is down. I believe you may be better served to go with a multi-point router...
One thought would be to setup a phantom extension for this user on the local IP Office system. Set that user for unconditional forward to the remote location extension or DID and tick "Forward Huntgroup Calls". Add the phantom extension to the local hunt group. Incoming calls to the hunt...
We have a client with a close business affiliate using a Siemens ROLM CBX system. Our client is interested in IP Office and CCC for their headquarters and call center, however they need assurances that they can continue to transfer calls back and forth with their affiliate while keeping it...
The following user ShortCode should allow you to set HfAns for external callers on a per user basis.
Code: *DCP
Telephone Number: 0,0,2,2
Feature: CW
This has been tested on 3.0.40 and 2.1.31.
Enjoy~

I suspect it may be an error with your config. Configuration errors with 3.0 can result in the symptom you describe.
I would recommend you run the IP Office Move Adds and Changes Wizard. Review the errors it reports. The Wizard can report a lot of false-positives so don't be discouraged or...
The limit is reached via both conference center software adn when attempting via handset.
It's now being escalated to Tier 4 @ Avaya, with the option for hardware replacement. I'm going to wait and see what Tier 4 says as I'm kind of curious, but with our client's config Avaya was not able to...
Today I received a report from a client that a user's voicemail was not allowing messages to be left. The user's greeting plays, but no beep to leave a message.
We isolated it to a setting in the Account folder's intuity.txt file. The setting was CAD=Y. Looking at other user's intuity.txt...
With respect to your question about configuration "do's and don't's" on the IP 403, Make sure you configure a default route under "IP Routes" which points to the inside interface of your VPN concentrator or applicable firewall on the work LAN. If your network is comprised of multiples routers...
We have a client who continues to reach a conference max of 6 parties. They are currently running on an IP403 build 3.0.40. The problem has existed since the PBX's first inception at build 2.1.15. Upgrades to 2.1.27, 2.1.31, and 3.0.40 have not resolved this issue.
We're working with Avaya...
cobragb - how did it turn out with the MVP130FXS? Do I understand your post correctly in that it only worked AFTER you installed the 3rd party IP license to your IP Office?
Anything you can share regarding how you configured the MVP130FXS on the IP Office would be most helpful. Thx
Erik
While I certainly agree with your post IPGuru, I don't know that it's entirely applicable to this thread. The question is whether a VM Transfer action can be performed through the use of a DSS key.
The DSS key would in fact be programmed with the action "User" and the number field as the...
Create or use the following system shortcode.
Code: *55*N#
Number: #N
Feature: VoicemailCollect
Under the user's button programming, set the following:
Action: Dial
Telephone Number: *55*
Label the button VM Trnsfr for example.
With your caller on the line, press Transfer, VM Transfr, the...
Your original direction should be fine in terms of being able to have a user with a hardphone maps to a particular extension, at the same time configuring them for VoIP mode so when they're on the road and login, it will automatically login in their softphone and subsequently log out their...
The stand-alone SMDR can be run as a service with the use of FireDaemon.
I would suggest you first load Delta Server, configure to your liking, then configure for automatic service load via the above mentioned utility.

Until such a feature can be provided, the next best thing might just be the Call Status application for the operator. I believe it does require an eBLF license however.

Noted this same symptom at a location the other day. Come to find out, some of the user's telephony tabs under Manager had "directory exclude" set. Deselected the checkbox and voila!
Something to keep in mind for those of us who utilize directory exclude for common area phones, etc.

Resurrecting the whole subject of NetMeeting and IP Office as a client of mine has presented the question "Just what does it mean when it says the Avaya 4620 IP phone support NetMeeting?"
I too have configured NetMeeting to point to the IP Office as the H323 Gatekeeper and seen it serve as an...
VOiDDude - have you managed to escalate this issue to Avaya Tier3 or above? I'll likely be making my call next week. Seeing the same symptoms when all users are logged out of hunt groups. Considering how much 2.1.27 appears to have fixed, I'm going to stick it out (for now...)
Now with support for IP406 v2.
The download file contains two (2) updated files for the Delta Server version 4.0(36).
Click on the following link to access the IP Office Delta Server version 4.0.36.
