BEFSR81 v3 will not take IP from cable modem
I recently lost my BEFSR81v2 and all LAN adapters to a cable-propogated surge (that went right through my cheapo Belkin surge protector). I picked up the new BEFSR81v3 with firmware 2.45.5 but it would not pick up the IP address from the cable modem. After 90 minutes on the phone with Linksys...- nkelly1968
