Definatly BUY. If money is a concern, try looking at sources such as the Dell Outlet site (just as an example). That is what I am really beginning to love about SBS 2k3. Unable to upgrade clients via "NT Client Install"
One thing I have seen in the past, is if the partition that the install is being directed to does not have enough disk space, the appearance of a successful install will be shown. We have a Win2k3 small business server in our DMZ being used for a group to access Sharepoint from the outside world.
