    Could not load type 'wa4.Global'.

    Hi I know a lot of people get this error occasionally intermittently, but it has roosted on my development computer... This error comes from starting a brand new web project (c# or vb) and compiling it. It is very repeatable. It is affecting all my apps (all of which worked Friday morning)...

    The post by Rings is the real answer. One clarification, you have to go to the Wizards and use Control Panel --> >Net Framework 1.1 Wizards-->Trust An Assembly the indexing service approach works, but this way you can keep indexing on.
