I just checked for my board (MS6570) on MSI and the only ATA serial controllers I can find are those of RAID nothing on SATA.

Right I still havnt got the disk, is there a website where I can download SATA drivers? I've looked on the Maxtor website and it hasnt got jack so can someone give me a direct link please. Thanks

Ok, I rang up the computer company, and apparently I need a floppy disk for SCSI drivers, so they are sending it to me and it should get to me on tuesday or wednesday. I'll keep you updated to see if the disk works.

I downloaded the drivers but it didnt work... I still got the same error saying no HD was detected and when I went to install the HD using the drivers it said it wasnt detected, so is my HD dead?

I did and it came up with please put in A: disk, but I don't have a floppy disk with the drivers, I bought it off of a company who obviously installed it all for me and didnt give me the drivers.
