Customer has old system with the ABCD programming structure
They need to change the # that dials when they press the Night service button.
I can get into Ringing services, but can't find where to enter the number.
As an aside, is there any difference between that and just programming a button to...
Customer is running a MICS 7.1, currently with a flash.
They have 6 extensions that answer inbound calls, and they want to monitor call times by extensions to determine how quickly each employee is closing a sale.
1. is that possible with a CP150 with call center
2. Can that be monitored real...
T7316s and Mics 7.1
Moved some phones around, and did a set copy for 3 phones.
The bottom right button is HF, but the one above it is no longer intercom, it is F987.
Anyone ever seen that?
How can I get the intercom button back, as there's no F# for it?
TIA
I've heard buzzing from the power supply before, but this is loud and is loudest directly above the left line card slot.
System is working fine (at the moment). The only think I can think of is the capacitor on the back of the board, but I've never heard a buzzing like that.
Any thoughts on...
Sorry, message keeps showing on the display of the m7324 reception set every time there is a power cycle.
It can be cleared, and doesn't seem to adversely affect the system, but it is a nuisance to the customer.
No, they don't have companion.
This msg keeps popping up on a refurbished MICS with 7.1. Google found me this http://searchnetworking.techtarget.com/definition/VTAM but I can't find anything to do with Nortel.
Anyone else run into this?
Thanks in advance
Thanks gents.
Curlycord, thanks...I hadn't heard of that from Bell. If I get this right, you can't make outbound calls on this number, since it's just a #, not a line.
During a normal day they would have the SNR directed to their own Line 2, at night they could schedule the SNR to direct to the...
Client has an answering service for after hours calls. Typically, they'd take off the call forward in the morning, but now has several employees working remotely, so would like to be able to take off the answering service, and forward to a cell phone. Is it possible to change the call forward...
Interesting product..hadn't seen that before...thanks. However, only works with a corded headset. Uses bluetooth to connect/transfer to the computer or cell.
Any other ideas?
A customer of mine wants to use this with his phone:
http://www.cochlear.com/wps/wcm/connect/au/home/discover/cochlear-implants/the-nucleus-6-system
Problem is it requires a bluetooth connection to the phone. The company has a MICS, and no desire to add IP (the 1140e has bluetooth built in)...
Given the madness in Paris this past week, a number of local schools are looking to upgrade their panic alert notifications to each classroom. Yes, they do have an alarm system, but there are a limited number of horns, and, given that there is a a phone in each classroom, it makes more sense to...
Customer is using a dial in conference call provider. After they dial in, they need to press * & pswd to log in, and the conference phone (p/n 2201-16200-601) is not allowing them to do that. The button works, and I can see ***** on the display, but it's not registering with the provider...
Real estate office currently has a 6x16 DR5.1 with startalk mini, and was looking for CID, so we installed a C6. The manager then informed me that they want to have the CID retrievable only on the phone that the caller transfers to through the AA (whether they leave a vmail or not). So...
Dealing with a multi-branch operation where calls come into the central branch, and are then transferred (Xfer, 9, dial number).
Problem is, intermittently, the original inbound caller cannot be heard at the branch the call was transferred to. Unsure if they can hear the branch or not.
Tech...
