yeah, I dont think that is pertaining to ARCserve 2000 workgroup or workstation edition! It always gives a "Unable to logon to database engine" DATABASE=ARCSERVE, EC=-2005 andthen in the job queue section it reports a LogID of *8 but says the last result was "Finished".

Well it could be that the case is giving off the harmonics of the CPU fans? as far as replacing this server, that is not do-able. Im wondering if anyone here has experienced the same wobble-humming sound? Jordan

Yeah, ive noticed, it takes like almost 2 hours to do 4 gigs total, very slow if you ask me.... anyways have you tried restoring information from the tapes? or even a full os with ARCserve2000? aswell, how can I view the files that I've backed up on the tape? Regards, Jordan
