    yeah, I dont think that is pertaining to ARCserve 2000 workgroup or workstation edition! It always gives a "Unable to logon to database engine" DATABASE=ARCSERVE, EC=-2005 andthen in the job queue section it reports a LogID of *8 but says the last result was "Finished".

    ArcServe2000 Backup / Recovery Issues?

    Yeah, ive noticed, it takes like almost 2 hours to do 4 gigs total, very slow if you ask me.... anyways have you tried restoring information from the tapes? or even a full os with ARCserve2000? aswell, how can I view the files that I've backed up on the tape? Regards, Jordan
