    1394 pc

    I can connect firewire network connections between my XPpro and XP home machines but am having the same problems you're getting with 2000. It asks for Microsoft 1394pc when connecting the cable. It's not on the disk. I have 2000Pro service pack4. Have you figured it out yet.
