The problem is the report's independent connection. This gets created when the following code is executed:
CRAXDRT.DatabaseTable.SetLogOnInfo()
CRAXDRT.DatabaseTable.Location()
So how do i explicitly release the connection to this DatabaseTable?

Yes, it looks like something similar is happening. If i check the connections to the Oracle database, there is one connection when i start my application. Then a second one appears when i run the report. however, when i close out of my application, the application's Oracle connection disappears...
