Changed the setting and the problem still exsists. I have also deleted the backup jobs and re-initialized the databases. Nothing has worked so far.

I am also having a problem with the mt command. It seems that when I run the command: mt -f /dev/rmt0 offline it returns the following error 4 out of 5 times: /dev/rmt0 offline 1 failed: The device is not ready for operation. any help would be appreciated.
